Our PS 209 school community hit a home run on Tuesday, June 9th, with a fun outing to see the Brooklyn Cyclones take on the Frederick Keys at Coney Island! Our chorus group delivered a spectacular performance of the National Anthem (posted below). The students' voices echoed across the ballpark as they sang and they got to see themselves up on the massive video board. What a special time for the parents, teachers, and classmates alike.
As part of the Cyclones' special group package, our PS 209 crew got the full VIP ballpark treatment. Everyone in attendance scored a commemorative Cyclones hat to show off their Brooklyn pride, along with a meal deal ticket voucher for a hot dog and chips to enjoy during the game. Our group cheered loudly from the stands as the Cyclones put on a fantastic show, fighting hard on the diamond to secure a thrilling 5-3 victory. Between the ocean breeze off the boardwalk, the stadium cheers, and the joy of sharing the stands with neighbors and friends, it was a perfect celebration of community spirit. Thank you to all the families and staff who came out to make this an unforgettable night out!
